VBAS HeArt Program Exhibition at Dowling Ann Rudd Art Center

Ozark, AL – October 1–11, 2025

The Dowling Ann Rudd Art Center will host an inspiring exhibition featuring artwork created by individuals in the Vivian B. Adams School HeArt Program (Helping Encourage Artistic Expression to Reinforce and Transform). The showcase will run October 1–11, with gallery hours Wednesday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

The HeArt Program empowers individuals with intellectual disabilities to explore creativity while building confidence and self-expression. Over two dozen original pieces will be on display, each reflecting the unique vision and voice of its artist. Artwork will be available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting both the individual artists and the continuation of the HeArt Program.

This special exhibition invites the community to celebrate creativity, inclusion, and the transformative power of art.
