ENCORE Program
Vivian B. Adams School’s ENCORE program serves eligible adults with intellectual disabilities and their families through education, life skills, and social skills. The ENCORE curriculum is designed to encourage independence, encourage daily living skills, and reinforce life skill academics.
ENCORE is committed to respecting adult learners by providing appealing learning opportunities that hold learner’s interest and encourage success.
ENCORE meets year-round on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. However, adult learners are encouraged to attend special event days on Mondays or Fridays at no additional cost. Breakfast, lunch, and transportation are provided.
ENCORE is entirely self-funded. Funding is provided through tuition ($250/month), donations, and fundraising activities. Financial aid is available for qualifying individuals.
