VBAS Receives “Support the Arts” License Plate Grant for Canvas of Possibilities

We’re excited to share that the HeArt Program at Vivian B. Adams School, under the leadership of Art Instructor Bill Meyer, has received an Alabama “Support the Arts” License Plate Grant for Canvas of Possibilities: A Series of Art Shows Celebrating Creativity, Ability and Inclusion!

This grant will help provide art supplies and display materials as our talented artists share their creativity with the community.

Our first exhibit will be on display throughout the month of October at the Ann Rudd Art Center in downtown Ozark. We hope you’ll stop by to celebrate the incredible talents of our artists!

The Alabama “Support the Arts” License Plate Grant Program is funded by the purchase of Support the Arts specialty license plates. Every purchase helps provide grants that enrich arts programs across our state.

You can help continue programs like the HeArt Program by purchasing a Support the Arts license plate at your county’s vehicle licensing office the next time you renew your vehicle tag. Your purchase directly supports arts education and creative opportunities for organizations throughout Alabama.
